Just as many camps wind down at the end of July, some exciting programs are starting up at the Montclair Kimberly Academy Middle School campus, and we're excited to share them with you.
August 3- August 14, MKA is offering Academic Enrichment courses for middle schoolers who may be looking to renew an excitement for learning that extends into the school year. There are a variety of courses to choose from, and they are à la carte so that you can mold your selections to your schedule.
Classes start at 9 AM, 10:35 AM, and 12:35 PM. You have the option to build a full day (9 AM - 2 PM), or just select one or two that fit into your August plans. Classes are taught by both MKA teachers and qualified teachers from neighboring school districts. Some highlights include Jumpstart Math for all grade levels, various Creative Writing courses, Music Composition and Music Production, Textiles & Crafts, and a special Executive Functioning workshop to learn better habits for starting the school year strong.
We welcome you to check out the offerings and more details here. Registration is rolling.
Questions about any of the classes? Please reach out to Monica Masterson, the Director of Summer Operations.
We hope to see some of you there!
